Does My Undergrad Degree Matter for Law School? (Ep. 114)
LSAT Demon Team
Demon student Beth has a great GPA, but she’s wondering whether schools will look down on the fact that she went to a mid-level school with an easy major. Ben surmises that admissions officers may view a high GPA in a liberal arts major as less impressive than a high GPA in Physics, for example. But at the end of the day, the number is what matters most. Nathan reminds listeners that only GPAs and LSAT scores are reported on the ABA 509. Undergraduate institutions and majors don’t affect schools’ rankings, so they matter very little.
